Let's get a $15 minimum wage in Maryland.
We have a great chance to pass a $15 minimum wage in Maryland, but we need your support! Senator Rich Madaleno (D-Montgomery County) submitted SB543 in January of this year. It proposes a gradual increase in the state minimum wage to a value of $15 in July 2023, with the minimum wage indexed to inflation after that.
But none of the Howard County Senators have signed on to cosponsor the bill. Tell your State Senators that you support SB543, Fight For $15 legislation, and ask them to sign on as cosponsors to the legislation.
You can find the email and phone numbers of your state Senators here.
